How to buy $DOGEN with smartphone if you don't have a wallet

It’s very easy to buy $DOGEN tokens on presale from your smartphone - even if you don’t have a crypto wallet yet. We’ll explain how to install Trust Wallet on mobile and how to use it to buy $DOGEN with a credit card.

What is Trust Wallet?

Trust Wallet is one of the most popular mobile crypto wallets in the world. It supports over 70 blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Polygon, etc.

Trust Wallet is available for Android, iOS, and desktop. We will show how to install and use it on Android - on iOS, the process is the same.

There are tons of things you can do with Trust Wallet:

  • Store, send, and receive crypto;

  • Buy crypto with a bank card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or bank transfer right in the wallet. You won’t need crypto to buy $DOGEN tokens, though, because the DOGEN Presale site already has an integration with the fiat payment service Münzen.

  • Convert USD, EUR, and 100+ real-world (“fiat”) currencies into crypto;

  • Swap (trade) one cryptocurrency for another, and much more.

Ready to create your first Trust Wallet account? Let’s go!

Part 1: install Trust Wallet on Android

  1. Search for Trust Wallet in Play Store.

  2. Locate Trust (the first non-sponsored result) and tap “Install”. Once installed, open the app.

  1. Tap “Get Started”. On the next screen, tap “Create New Wallet”.

Part 2: Create a new wallet

  1. Tap on “Secret phrase”. The next step is crucial: you’ll be given a secret phrase, and you’ll need to save it in a very safe location.

The secret phrase is also called the seed phrase or mnemonic. It consists of 12 words, such as “goose big house drive banana beautiful star run bicycle shoes extreme cheese”.

If anyone gains access to your secret phrase, they will be able to get into your wallet and steal all your crypto, including your $DOGEN tokens. So you must never, ever share it with anyone.

And if for some reason you lose access to your wallet (for example, if you lose your phone) and you don’t have the secret phrase saved, you’ll lose access to your $DOGEN tokens forever.

  1. Trust offers two ways of saving the secret phrase: manually or on Google Drive. If you choose the option “Back up manually”, prepare to copy or write down the secret phrase and save it somewhere safe. We recommend that you make several backup copies of the secret phrase - for example, in a password manager and on a few pieces of paper that you can hide around your house.

DON’T save the secret phrase in an email, messenger, etc. Hackers could get access to it and steal your crypto.

If you choose the option “Back up to Google Drive”, remember that you will only be able to access the secret phrase when you have access to Google Drive. So for example, if you lose the phone and you can’t restore access to your Google account, you won’t be able to use Google Drive, either. We recommend always making manual backups, as well.

  1. In this example, we’ll tap on “Back Up Manually”. Read the security tips carefully and check the box next to each tip. Tap “Continue”.

  1. On the next screen, Tap “Copy to Clipboard” and save the secret phrase in your selected location. Note that Trust Wallet prevents users from taking screenshots of sensitive information like secret phrases (and this is a good thing).

  1. Now Trust Wallet will check if you have indeed saved the secret phrase. Insert only the requested words from the recovery phrase. In this example, you’ll need to go through the recovery phrase you’ve just saved and count words to find the 1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th words. Once you’ve entered the missing words, the blue Confirm button will become active. Tap it.

  1. If you entered the words correctly, Trust Wallet will ask you to create a passcode of 6 digits. On the next screen, enter the passcode again to confirm. Alternatively, you can tap the fingerprint icon to set up biometric access to the wallet.

Your wallet is ready to use! Tap “Start using Trust Wallet”.

OK, you have a wallet - now it’s time to buy some $DOGEN!
